I finished my class amidst the whirlwind of activities going on around here :)
12 WEEKS!!! Hooray!
And it was hard - very hard. It pushed me, it stretched me, it made me cry. But in the end -- man, am I ever glad I did it! I learned a TON! And I feel pretty great about it :)
So much to catch up on, it kinda makes my head spin. And Girls Camp is a mere 6 weeks away. SIX WEEKS people!!!! But I am going to try -- really try, to share/record some photos and happenings around here...
Starting with this sweet newborn, because he is so yummy! And I got to take his pictures for my beautiful friend when he was 5 days old!
Hi there! Yep. I am still here. And still planning to catch up with things here on my poor neglected blog :)
I thought you might like to see what I have been up to (besides the usual craziness of mothering 4 children, and being the bishop's wifey too ;)
I am finally taking the photography class that I waited a year on the wait list to get into!! It is a 12-week course and it is awesome! You can check it out here! /http//www.wendyschulzphotography.com/
It is filling up every extra minute of my days, stealing from my zzzz's at night, and straining my brain in ways it has not strained in quite a while and I LOVE IT!!! Just so thrilled to venture of the auto mode and finally learn how to make this camera behave ;) Ha! I am still very much a work in progress but these are a few of my fav's, some because I am proud of the technical skills I am developing, and others that I liked just because I do :) XOXO -- Wendy
We spent a beautiful day up at Yellowstone National Park with mom and dad B.
We had a wonderful time and saw lots of wildlife up CLOSE! It was really fun!
Throwing a pine cone into the water... 1...2...3... :)
Trying to catch water skeeters
Luke slipped and lost his shoe in the mud.
Grandpa to the rescue.
Old Faithful
This is one of my favorite memories of the day... Ashley brought "Pinkie" her Zhu Zhu pet with us. It turns out "Pinkie" had magic powers and could call the wild life to come out or closer so that we could see them! ;)
