Sea World

I LOVE Sea World. A lot. I think it goes back to when I was a little girl and we lived in Ohio and had season passes for a year. I dreamed of being one of the trainers that swam with the dolphins and rode on Shamu's back. I love the water. I even wanted to be a mermaid after watching the movie Splash and wished that I could breathe under water.

Some of those wishes have come true. I did breathe under water while scuba diving with giant sea turtles, octopus and millions of beautiful fish in Hawaii. I swam with dolphins in the Caribbean and even sailed across the water being propelled by dolphins at my feet. A true thrill!

So this might explain, don't laugh, why I get a little choked up every time I watch the Shamu show. I'm a little girl again and would dive in in an instant given the chance. It is just so awesome to me - still. :)
